What is Rumley 365?

A 365 Project is one picture every day for an entire year - 365 days.

So I've actually wanted to try doing a 365 project since last January (2021). And then January 1st came and went, and I literally missed the first day of the project. Then the second, and then the third....you see where this is going. Clearly, I never got around to starting it, so here I am - let's call it round 2.

Why a 365?

My 365 is meant to keep me accountable to becoming a better photographer, to learning more about my trade, to being more creative, and lastly, to capture storytelling moments of my children. Memories they can look back at when they're older, and hopefully remember, and laugh at the photos with each other, to take them back to the good times.

Anyone can start a 365 anytime. Your photos can be taken with the camera you have with you all the time - your phone. You don't have to have children to participate in a 365 - just snap a picture of something that speaks to you everyday. What inspires you? What do you love? Let's embark on this challenge together! I'd be honoured to have anyone walk along side me on this new journey.
