Valuable lessons from a 365

Its August 1st, and yes I've missed a day or two, here or there. But lets be real. Life happens. Its difficult to keep up every single day, and find creativity in every thing we do as a family.

But I have to say, one of the best things I've taken from this 365 so far, is that when I do hit a creative block, and I have no "new" content, or pictures to take, I end up doing things with my kids - taking them for walks, taking them to the park, or to the beach, or outside playing hockey or soccer, or for a swim. The list goes on. The possibilities - endless. Basically, this project has encouraged me so spend more quality time with my family, and for that, I'm forever grateful. I can't imagine not doing this, and how different things would have been.
I don't care if I look like a tourist, with my camera attached to me all the time - at parties, at backyard family events. I don't even know if I've grown as a photographer - which was my initial goal, as I set out to do this 365 - but I think I've grown as a mom, as a parent, and I hope to be able to continue on with this challenge for as long as I can.
